Welcome to the January – March 2024 i2S News with the latest developments in Integration and Implementation Sciences (i2S), this time from two of the three repositories we curate.

We introduce a new category of blog posts for Integration and Implementation Insights (i2Insights) blog and repository, which we are calling “Editor’s Additions.” We also highlight statistics about the global nature of views of i2Insights, including that i2Insights contributions have been viewed more than 1.3 million times, and that there are only two countries where i2Insights has never been viewed.

From the i2S-Talks YouTube channel, we feature the playlist from NITRO-Oceania, the Network of Leaders of Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Organisations in the Oceania region, along with two recent videos from seminars organized by that group. This is one of a small number of playlists that we host for sister organisations.

We are rebuilding the main i2S website and there is no news to report this time.

In other updates, Gabriele is pleased to report that she was elected as inaugural President of the Global Alliance for Inter- and Transdisciplinarity (ITD-Alliance) in November 2023. She also had an article published commenting on lack of recognition for transdisciplinarity in a major review of the Australian higher education system released at the end of February.

We also provide news about the International System Dynamics conference and the International Transdisciplinarity conference, both of which will be held later this year. There is also a call for submissions for a special issue of the Higher Education Research and Development journal on “Educating for Societal Transitions” which will be published in 2025.
