The Journal of Collaborative Healthcare and Translational Medicine covers “the areas of translational healthcare and medicine. The journal emphasizes thought and reflection on the importance of the translational processes from basic science, human and patient research, practical application, and social impact in the forms of policy and community engagement”. In addition to these “bench to bedside to market” processes, the JCHTM strives to highlight the collaborative aspects of translational science through the contributions of team science research, social and behavioral science, economic and technologic inquiry, and the experience of health and biomedical professions involved in collaborative and translational health and medical sciences.”
The first issue in 2014 was released as the Journal of Translational Medicine and Epidemiology and contained a special issue on “Collaboration Science and Translational Medicine” which can be found at: http://www.jscimedcentral.com/TranslationalMedicine/translationalmedicine-spid-collaboration-science-translational-medicine.php.
The journal is open access.
