The International Society for Knowledge and Systems Sciences (ISKSS) takes a broad-based and open-minded approach to the knowledge and system sciences so that they inform each other methodologically and practically to the benefit of each. The “overall purpose of ISKSS is to promote development of knowledge science and systems science, as well as collaboration between [these] two sciences. It further seeks to encourage research and facilitate communication between … scientists and professionals from various disciplines and professions at local, regional, national, and international levels”.
ISKSS was established in 2003 at the International Symposium on Knowledge and Systems Sciences in Guangzhou, China.
Proceedings of the annual International Symposium on Knowledge and System Sciences since 2016 are available.
