Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment “consists of peer-reviewed, synthetic review articles on all aspects of ecology, the environment, and related disciplines, as well as short, high-impact research communications of broad interdisciplinary appeal.” It publishes some papers relevant to i2S; in 2014 these covered: barriers and incentives for scientists engaging in policy, model-based instruction, creating and maintaining high performing collaborative research teams, and reward systems for interdisciplinary collaborations.
In addition, Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment “covers all aspects of ecology, the environment, and related subjects, focusing on global issues, broadly impacting research, cross-disciplinary or multi-country endeavors, new techniques and technologies, new approaches to old problems, and practical applications of ecological science.”
Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment is the journal of the Ecological Society of America.
