I2S News #17 showcases two resources from the First Global Conference on Research Integration and Implementation: (1) the digital poster ‘Trading Zones and Interactional Expertise’, which explores how trading zones and interactional expertise can provide useful ways of thinking about and improving collaborations across different disciplinary communities; and, (2) the webcast ‘Complexity Science in Action: Examples from Multiple Use Environments in Australian Coastal Zones’ by Beth Fulton.
We feature the searchable online database the ‘Encyclopedia of Systems and Cybernetics’. Our usual journal section details the ‘Journal on Policy and Complex Systems’, whilst the professional association for this newsletter is the ‘American Society for Cybernetics’.
The two featured conferences are the: (1) 5th Annual International Science of Team Science (SciTS) Conference and 5th Annual VIVO Conference; and, (2) 2nd Biennial Australian Implementation Conference (AIC): Solving Complex Implementation Problems.
We also outline some of the discussion occurring on our LinkedIn Group: ‘Global Network for Research Integration and Implementation.
