Presents cases developed in a transdisciplinary case study course for undergraduates and postgraduates that has run at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology since 2002. Students explore sustainable solutions for a particular complex real-world problem.
The TdLab provides two online repositories dealing with challenges in sustainable development. The first involves completed transdisciplinary case studies undertaken by postgraduate students from 1994 onwards.
This book presents three case studies on, respectively, health of resettled refugees, "street health" and safety. It also covers a range of topics, including benefits and challenges of transdisciplinary research, the research process, training and funding.
