MOOC on Ignorance! ... week 2 is now live

Registration is still open!

The MOOC is based on Michael Smithson's pioneering work on ignorance, with Gabriele Bammer looking specifically at the importance of ignorance to dealing with complex problems.

Find out what ignorance is, where it originates, what people do with it, and its roles in society and culture. Over 5 weeks, we’ll take you on a tour through ignorance in all its varieties and guises. The video provides a brief introduction.

 

 


 

NEW! Postdoctoral position

A postdoctoral position is available to work on “Team Science: Research on Practices in the Transdisciplinary Environmental Sciences”. It will be located at the US National Science Foundation-funded National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. Applications close August 14, 2015 for a 2016 start. The position will work with several SESYNC-funded projects.
